Tsingy – Baobab – Isalo
First Day
Antananarivo – Tsingy – MorondavaEarly at about 6:00 AM leave for the Grand Tsingy Fly over the High Plateau, and the Manambolo River
Land at about 7:15 AM at the private runway of Amborodia. Transfer to the Tsingy 5km away A 4 hour trek with a guide and a picnic
The day ends with drive to see the wonderful sunset at Baobab Alley; a unique collection of Adamsonia Grandidier, the most majestic of the baobabs Dinner and night at Hotel Pallisandre.
Second Day
Morondava – IsaloAfter breakfast, visit the town of Morondava then have lunch at the hotel, transfer to the airport for takeoff at 2:00 PM and arrival in Ranohira in the heart of the Isalo massif around 4:00 PM. Dinner and night at the hotel.
Third Day
Isalo (The natural swimming pool)After breakfast, visit “the natural pool”, a 3 hours easy walk there and back. Discover beautiful landscapes with changing colours, Go through a Tapia forest. Pachypodiums and many sclerophyllous drought tollerant plants. Swimming possible in a natural swimming pool.
Fourth day
IsaloIn the morning an easy two hour return trek to “Canyon Maki”. Cross savannah and rice paddies before entering a narrow canyon following a small river. This canyon is full of abundant flora (ferns, palms,) three species of lemurs which it is easy to see.
At 11:00 AM, the tour ends and we take off for Refueling.
